ESONA again at the ZMOS 2021 event

With the participation of almost 500 delegates and guests, the 31st ZMOS took place on 8-9 September 2021, which was held not only in the spirit of the balance of activities to date but also the approval of new priorities for the coming period. Environmental issues were also important areas.

The topic of Waste Management resonated significantly with most of the participating mayors and mayors, especially the support of waste sorting and recycling. Increasing landfill fees is a strong incentive for municipalities and cities to sort waste, prevent waste and create pressure to increase recycling rates.

The Association of Towns and Municipalities of Slovakia (ZMOS) demands modern self-government and responsible solutions. Our ESONA solution is designed for municipalities and cities that need to increase control in the waste export process. The solution supports a transparent process of registration, management, and export of waste containers, which will enable the introduction of quantitative collection, targeted control of waste container dumps and thus motivate citizens to sort waste while reducing the cost of waste collection and disposal.
