The quantitative collection is still in its infancy in Slovakia, and it is a system that can in many cases very effectively save the population money for waste, increase transparency, fairness and is more efficient for municipalities. What is its success?
How does quantitative waste collection work?
The bulk collection system has long been known. However, it is also becoming more and more common in home residents. It is a system where no flat fee is paid for waste. The fee is set for each according to the volume of the vessel and the frequency of exports. Based on this, taxpayers monitor the amount of municipal waste produced, ie waste that cannot be separated. Such a system makes landfills much easier and, importantly, motivates people to sort and often not produce waste unnecessarily.
Deployment is easy and fast
The advantage is that the quantitative collection of waste can be started relatively easily and very quickly. The ESONA system offers local governments comprehensive and efficient waste management.
